2013 ~ The Year of The Lovers

2013 is a six year, which in Numerology comes from adding 2+0+1+3=6. A Six relates to the Lovers Tarot Card in Tarot Numerology.

The Lovers Tarot Card has a Angel, man, and woman on it. The man represents our conscious mind, the woman is our intuition, and the angel is our higher guidance. When the man (our conscious mind) looks to the woman (our intuition) and she looks to the Angel (our higher guidance,) we are making empowered choices. This is the opposite of what we see in the Devil card, #15, where the man looks to the woman and the woman looks back to the man. In the Devil card, there is no higher wisdom guiding our choices.

In a Lover year, we tend to trust our higher guidance more and Imagetherefor, when choices arise as they always do in a Lover year, we are more likely to choose for the highest good of all those concerned as well as for our own higher growth. Of course, during this year if we do not follow the Universe’s nudging, we tend to make choices that are more materialistic and not wise.

2013 is a year when your choices can influence the rest of your life. It is also a year where the same is true in society. Choices can be empowering, even if needing to make the choice is out of your control. You can choose to make the same knee-jerk decisions or to take a new route in life. It is your choice. Look further than the immediate future when you are making choices this year and your future will reflect your thoughtfulness.

ImageIf you are having trouble with a decision, use the old Pros/Cons list you were taught. But along with writing down all the pros and cons, add two more columns. Write what your common sense is telling you in one column and what your intuition or gut is telling you in the other.Learning to honor both your intuitive side and your common sense will allow you to express both sides of your self. Use all four columns in order to make a wise, well thought out, and inspired choice.

Yes, the Lovers Year can also be pivotal in relationships. Yet don’t get all googlie eyed, I said it is a year you will deal with relationships. This can be a year a new relationship starts, it ends, or you decide to put effort into improving it! Basically you will most likely find some sort of partnership will be in the forefront. The most important partnership you can work on this year is the one you have with your self. It is necessary to respect and honor yourself if you want to enter into a healthy relationship with someone else.

You have relative control over your future through the choices and decisions you make in the present. Choose wisely and have a blessed, healthy, and prosperous 2013.

  1. First off I would like to say wonderful blog! I had
a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind before writing.
I’ve had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out there.
I truly do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15
minutes are wasted just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas
    or hints? Cheers!

    1. Thank you for your comment. First of, no time is ever wasted when writing. 🙂 with that said, I take a few breaths and then I imagine myself talking to someone about what I am blogging on. I don’t worry about it making a lot is sense or being in the correct order. I just “start the conversation.” Then I go back and take out repetition, make sentences more clear, reorganize the paragraphs and of course spell and grammar check. It is best to kind of summarize the main thought in the first paragraph, so sometimes I write that paragraph last. Hope that helps!
